Wizardry Fireworks

Version 3

Project: WordPress Theme

Scripts: PHP / HTML / CSS / JQuery / JavaScript

Database: MySQL

date: 2011

This version of the Wizardry Fireworks is a theme for the Blog system WordPress that has been customised to suite the companies needs.

The change to an apache / PHP based system is due to a number of issues that where being face with by the old site, features such as image uploading and resizing and security are major factors. With the reduction in hosting costs also playing a large factor.

Version 2

Project: Website

Scripts: HTML / CSS / JQuery / JavaScript

Database: Microsoft Access

My first major revamp of the Wizardry Fireworks Website.

The design was requested by the company owner, and although it looks like a default Joomla layout it is in fact an entirely custom coded CMS system in ASP Classic on a Microsoft Access Database.

This site hosted a lot of my SEO theory testing and to this day ranks very highly in global searches for “Fireworks” and “Fireworks Sydney”

This website was live up until the creation of Wizardry Fireworks V3

Version 1

Project: Website

Scripts: ASP Classic / HTML / CSS / JavaScript

Database: Microsoft Access

Although not the first design I ever created for Wizardry Fireworks, This is the earliest version I still have on file and it is the first version that had its own domain.

The website was created as part of my major TAFE final assessment in 2003 and was built in ASP Classic using a Microsoft Access Database. This project also involved the creation of the Wizardry Fireworks Promotional CD

The large Photograph of the firework was taken by myself at a trade event in the ACT in 2002, and the bulk of the photo gallery are also my own photographic shoots.

Multimedia CD

Project: Promotional CD and Quote Delivery

Scripts: HTML / CSS

This CD was created with a custom designed CD label and CD cover to provide the company a way to deliver custom quotes to potential clients.

It consisted of .PDF based quotes that where developed by the company, a photo gallery and a large promotional video setup to “WOW” the viewer.

I studied Digital Media for 12 months at Mt Druitt TAFE. While  doing so we studied The 3D Modeling Program ‘Maya’. During the course I produced a number of 3D scenes and a couple of 3D animated movies.

I have also played in other programs such as Bryce 3D, 3D Studio Max, Lightwave, Vue D’esprit and a few others. However, i have always returned to Maya as a personal preference.

Bellow are a number of works that i have produced from these various programs.

Bryce 3D: Balls

Vue D’esprit: Sulfuric

Maya: Living Room

Maya: Gauntlet
